  I've been going to this restaurant for 20 years but my last three visits have been disastrous, the main meal I've ordered, beef fillet has been so undercooked I asked for a credit on my meal each time as it wasn't eaten. Tonight was the last straw to break the camels back, both my wife and myself had an undercooked meal or not as ordered - The staff offered to re-cook my meal which was a pathetic attempt at resolving a problem which can't be fixed by throwing my undercooked meal back on a hot plate - very poor service by the staff, very poor service by the chef and very poor service by the management. I won't be returing as this restaurant quality, service and food is extremely poor and doesn't warrant my hard earned cash....

  Unfortunately the way we were left at the table with absolutely no service was appauling. We tried to get staff attention to order more wine and food but something must have been going on as we were totally ignored and no staff coming our way, not to mention the loud music from a function in the other room drowning out the lovely pianist. Other customers got up and left and so did we. This ruined our night and what made it worse was we told the receptionist as we were leaving and she didn't care. We also sent The Courthouse a private email which was positive and constructive but they never responded. Why would you go back to a place that doesn't care about how you are treated, we use to like the courthouse as the food is quite good but we can get good food plus brilliant service elsewhere. We are happy to pay high prices for the total experience, wonderful food, atmosphere and attentive service. We understand things go wrong but to totally ignore us and not even care to explain is not good enough. We wont be back. .
